Leaders deliver remarks at G-7 summit in Germany

Leaders of the Group of Seven leading economies and European Union began talks on Sunday as the annual G-7 summit got underway in Germany. EU leader Ursula von der Leyen has said that the EU would be "mobilising300 billion euros till 2027" in infrastructure joining in the US president's new global infrastructure partnership.

German chancellor Olaf Scholz made similar announcement "This is part of Germany's contribution to collective G7 support of eight point five billion US dollar over the next three to five years" the German leader said. President Joe Biden launched a new global infrastructure partnership with other Group of Seven nations. The Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment will aim over the next five years to raise $600 billion to invest in infrastructure projects worldwide.
