Russia to supply Iskander-M missiles to Belarus

Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko in St. Petersburg.

During a televised portion of their meeting; Putin said Russia would supply Belarus with the Iskander-M short-range ballistic missile system in the coming months.

Putin noted that the missiles can carry nuclear as well as conventional warheads.
