




The 3rd research paper reading session on climate change and technological innovation for agriculture sector development was held at the Department of Agriculture in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.
Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Tin Htut Oo said that it is necessary to cultivate by using modern technologies based on research results from conventional agricultural production.
Technologies that can be adaptable with climate change are also needed and it is also necessary to develop technologies that can effectively reuse by-products and wastes from livestock farming.
The Union Minister urged researchers to implement from the current capacity to reach the fourth level (Agriculture 4.0) while constantly learning advanced digital technologies and electronic technologies in the agricultural research field.
The research paper reading session on climate change and technological innovation for the development of the agricultural sector will be held from 23rd to 24th June.
Resource persons from Department of Agricultural Research; Department of Agriculture, Yezin Agricultural University, University of Veterinary Science, Mandalay and Panglong Universities would read and present 83 papers and 13 posters.
