Fire crews were attacking a brush fire in Southern California's Angeles National Forest from the air. A large jet dropped red fire retardant around the blaze, followed by a trio of helicopters dropping water in quick succession. The fire broke out Wednesday afternoon near Bouquet Reservoir, near Santa Clarita. The Los Angeles County Fire Department reported they were assisting US Forest Service crews fighting the fire that had burned about ten acres.
