Religious Ceremony: VSG pays homage to remains of late Shwe Thuwun Sayadaw

Presiding Nayaka of Ponnya Neinmitayama Shwe Thuwun monastery in Thingyan Kyun Township of Yangon Region State Ovadasariya Sayadaw Abhidhaja Maha Rattha Guru Abhidhaja Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotika Bhaddanta Saddhiya passed away on 21st May. 

The remains of the Sayadaw are being kept at the Ponnya Neinmitayama Shwe Thuwun monastery. Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice Senior General Soe Win and party paid homage to the body of the late Sayadaw and donated cash.

Later, the Vice Senior General and party paid homage to Ovadasariya Sayadaws of  final rites Organizing Committee and supplicated plans to hold the final rites of the late Sayadaw and fulfilled the needs.
