Preparation Measures: Work Processes For Collecting 2024 Census Discussed

The Ministry of Immigration and Population held a discussion on the preparation measures for collect 2024 census and reviewing the data of 2014 census.

Chairman of the Central Census Commission Union Minister U Khin Yi discussed that the preparation measures for 2024 census have been implementing through 8 work processes, and plans have been made to complete five work processes in the first phase.

The processes have been commenced since October 2021, and efforts have to be made for completion of the works as par schedule. The Union Minister stressed the needs to make systematic work process since census collection and the accurate census data are curcialfor implementation of development works for the country.
