Water Pumping Project: MoALI Union Minister Inspected Water Pumping Project

The Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Tin Htut Oo inspected Tha Phan Seik Water Pumping project in Taungoo Township, Bago Region on May 17.

The union minister said that The water pumping project is to be extended to grow on all farmland situated between dams located at east of the Bago Mountain range and Sittaung River and supply water to the prospective farmlands.

Then, the union minister provided hemp seeds to in the utilization of green manure to the local farmers and inspected the place where the solar power system installs for ThaPhanSeik Water Pumping project. Next, the union minister and party inspected filling gravel to form more layers of the bank of Ye Nwe dam and gave necessary instructions.  Afterward, the union minister met the pig breeders in Daik-U Township and instructed the departmental officials to provide technical and other assistances.
