Tarli-Paung San Railroad: It Is Targeted To Open This Year

Tarli-Paung San road section of Tarli-Shweli railroad that is the main route of China and Myanmar has completed cent per cent and it will be opened this year, it is learnt.
A total length of Tarli-Shweli railroad is 330 kilometers and the portion of bridge tunnel is 76.5 percent. It is constructed section by section.
The completed Tarli-Paung San road section is 113 kilo meters and it is facilitated with 21 tunnels and 36 bridges. The bridge tunnel ratio is 86.5 percent. The construction for this route took over 14 years due to the very complex soil type.
