Door-to-door Transportation of Hemodialysis Patients

Since Shanghai Media Group(SMG) set up the anti-COVID-19 epidemic service platform, it has received more than 3,000 pieces of information such as requests and suggestions from residents.

There has been a total of 124 calls for help from hemodialysis patients. The information has been sorted and passed on to relevant authorities and communities. According to orders from Shanghai authorities, Shiquan Road Community had already registered the residents who needed regular hemodialysis treatment as early as 5 days ago, and arranged 15 cars to carry out door-to-door transfer of patients from closed loop management communities to the hospitals.Mr. Wu, one of the volunteer drivers said that they have a timetable for pick-ups and drop-offs and the property management company he worked for provided two special vehicles for this purpose.
