Literature and Culture: Reformation of Associations for Kayin and Rakhine Nationals

Literature and Cultural Association of Kayin and Rakhine nationals have been reformed in Yangon Region.

During the ceremony to approve the newly reformed organizations, Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Saw Tun Aung Myint discussed that the Literature and Culture Associations have to be freed from the partisanship and personal bias.

The Ministry is carrying out for development of literature, culture and arts of national races while safeguarding it.  At the same time, efforts are being made for national reconciliation and stability of the state.

The Government is inviting the Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs) for holding the dialogues according to the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA), and all are urged to participate in it.

The Union Minister also presented cash assistance for Kayin and Rakhine Literature and Cultural Associations.
