COVID-19 Treatment Center: Yangon CM Visited Aung Myint Mo COVID-19 Treatment Center

The clarification on the status of ground situation on giving treatment to COVID-19 patients and giving healthcare service for the positive patients and receiving cash donation and handing over certificate of honor was held at Aung Myint Mo COVID-19 treatment center, Dagon Myothit (South) Township, East District, Yangon Region at 8:20 on 1st March, 2022.

First, the In-Charge of the Center U Sithu (Deputy General Manager, Shwe Than Lwin Company) clarified the opening of treatment center, status of giving treatment to the patients, number of recovery patients and permitting them to return home. Upon the clarifications, the Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein instructed necessary, accepted cash donation of 2.5 million Kyats and protected equipments donated by 6 well wishers and handed over the certificate of honor to the well wishers.

Present on the occasion were the Yangon Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Yangon Mayor U Bo Htay, region ministers, region level departmental officials, chairman of east district administration council, district and township level departmental officials.

 The Chief Minister and officials inspected doctors’ office, PPE changing room, medicines stored warehouse, implementation of oxygen plants and installation of oxygen pipelines, preparations for patients’ wards and extended words of encouragement to the volunteers, it’s reported.
