








A ceremony to appoint fresher nurses who graduated from 44th batch of nurse/midwives diploma training course was held at the meeting hall of Shan State Medical Service and Public Health Department at 4 p.m. on February 28.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Shan State Chief Minister Dr. Kyaw Tun said that the newly appointed fresher nurses are hoped to give health care to the public in the regions assigned with the skills acquired during the training.
In the medical service to the public, the nurses are the back bone of the public healthcare service. The 45 diploma graduated nurses are urged to participate actively in the uplifting of the public health standard, disease prevention and rehabilitation sectors.
Next, the chief officer of Shan State Medical Service and Public Health Department Dr. Myint Kyaw clarified regarding the handing over certificate of appointment.
Then, the Chief Minister, Dr. Kyaw Tun, state ministers, secretary of state government, chief officer of Shan State Medical Service and Public Health Department and officials handed over the appointment certificates to the fresher nurses.
