Inspection Tour: Yangon Region CM inspected regional development works

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein together with Yangon Mayor U Bo Htay and officials inspected works of Road Department and Nyaung Hna Pin agricultural plantations of the agricultural department on 26 February.

First, the chief minister and party inspected laying concrete on the 12 to 18 feet wide road of Taikkyi Road section from mile post 16/0 to 16/4 in Taikkyi Township and laying asphalt on Yay Twin Gone-Myo Chaung-Tawlati Ywatha road section from mile post 11/5 to 13/0 in HtanTaPin Township and work of pressing for hard surface of the road shoulder and the responsible officials clarified the work implementations and the chief minister instructed to carry out to meet the quality and standards and completion within the timeframe.

Then, the chief minister met with the responsible officials from region agriculture department and chairmen of agriculture and livestock breeding special zones 1, 2 and 3 management committee at the meeting hall.

At the meeting, the responsible persons clarified the status on the 100 acres of organic plantation and poultry and cow breeding.

The chief minister gave a remark that Nyaung Hna Pin agricultural fields were developed with the aim at fulfilling the vegetables, meat and fish requirement of the people in Yangon Region, so the agriculture department needs to implement to have good transportation roads for agricultural goods, relevant departments require to collaborate to supply efficient electricity, the agricultural department need to distribute the natural fertilizers and modern agricultural techniques. This trip is intended to coordinate with the departments for the requirements.  

Later, the chief minister and party viewed the thriving of organic plantations, gave necessary instructions and inspected the display of vegetables to transport to the market, it’s reported.
