Entering into order of nuns: Ceremony of entering into order of Buddhist nun held

The first ever ceremony of entering into the order of Buddhist nun by a hundred of girls and women was held at ThiriMingalar Pariyatti SarThinTaik, Hopan Township, Hopan district, Wa Self-Administered Zone in the morning on 24th February.

The congregation observed 8 precepts administered by the Chairman of Township SanghaNayaka Committee, presiding Sayadaw of 31 celestial abodes Pagoda Missionary Monastery and the well wishers offered the offertories to the Sangha.

Then, the congregation offered rice and dry provisions to the senior and junior nuns. Afterward, the well wishers contributed cash donations for the construction of three-storey building in the nunnery Pariyatti learning center.
