







Union Minister for Cooperatives and Development of Rural Areas U Hla Moe on Friday afternoon inspected the work processes for turning the Thaw Hmaw Kone Village in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area into a smart village.
During the inspection, the Union Minister heard reports and inspected road construction, lampposts, library upgrade, vegetables farming, detergent production and livestock plans.
And, pledging to provide assistance to be a smart village, he said that the Ministry has been working on promotion of cooperative sector and rural area development. The villagers reported on requirements and the Union Minister fulfilled.
There, he also made inspections. It’s learnt that in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, Cooperatives and Development of Rural Areas has been making efforts to turn Gway Pin, Kyun-U and Thaw Hmaw Kone villages into smart villages to narrow the development gap between urban and rural areas.
