Land Management Meeting: Shan State FMC and VFVLMC held meetings

The Shan State Farmland Management Committee meeting (2/2022) and state Vacant, Fallow and Virgin Land Management Committee meeting (2/2022) were held at the meeting room of Shan State Government, Taunggyi Township, Shan State on 25th February.

Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of Shan State Farmland Management Committee and state Vacant, Fallow and Virgin Land Management Committee Shan State Chief Minister Dr. Kyaw Tun said that the state farmland management committee decides the matters within the authority with the approval of the state government and matters to be submitted are being carrying out as soon as possible.

It’s needed to apply to use land for other means on the actual uncultivable lands. If a land use application for actual implementation on the Vacant, Fallow and Virgin Land within the state, the process of scrutinizing, giving recommendation and permission will be carried out as fast as possible.

Next, the secretary of Shan State Farmland Management Committee, secretary of State Vacant, Fallow and Virgin Land Management Committee and director of Farmland Management and Statistics Department read the decisions of Shan State Farmland Management Committee and state Vacant, Fallow and Virgin Land Management Committee meetings (1/2022) and approved and the submissions of farmland appeal cases in meetings (2/2022) were discussed and made decisions.

Later, the Chairman of Shan State Farmland Management Committee and state Vacant, Fallow and Virgin Land Management Committee Shan State Chief Minister Dr. Kyaw Tun gave a speech of conclusion.
