Health Research: 4th Day Of 50th Myanmar Health Research Congress

The 50th Myanmar Health Research Congress in Yangon continued its 4th day on Thursday, focusing on the "Inter-professional Education (IPE) and Inter-professional Collaborative Practice (IPCP): Promise for Quality Health Workforce and Quality Healthcare".

The current congress is conducted under the theme of Response to COVID-19 in Myanmar: Reflection after the Third Wave to highlight the efforts of the Health Ministry under the guidance of the SAC, supports of private sectors and public participation in the fight against the third wave of COVID-19.

The seminars are being held by researchers and experts from their respective fields and it will bring benefits to the public healthcare and medical sectors.

The congress which began on the 21st of February is set to be held till February 25. About 400 researchers from local and foreign, including experts from the Republic of Korea and the Philippines, have joined the event and are reading out 69 research papers and 27 research posters.

The four prizes for the best Basic Research, Applied Research, Health Systems Research and one best poster will be awarded and a young researcher award will be also presented.
