
The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.
The Ministry reported 2,938 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Thursday after testing 28,486 patients within 24 hours. 4 patients have died due to the disease while 1,350 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 578,446 with 19,353 deaths and 528,717 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
