Cash Assistance: 6815.730 Million Kyats For Mother And Children

Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement on Tuesday held a virtual meeting on the cash assistance provision for Ayeyawaddy Region under the Maternal and Child Cash Transfer (MCCT) programme.

There, Union Minister Dr. Thet Thet Khine said that for the 1st 3 months in the year of 2021/2022, the Ministry would provide 6815.730 million Kyats for mothers and their children under 2 years of age in Ayeyawaddy Region. Ayeyawaddy Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win also pledged to cooperate on the programme. Importane of social protection programmes was discussed before the cash was handed over for the mothers and their children under 2 years of age in Ayeyawaddy Region.
