COVID-19 prevention: Sagaing Region CM attended region COVID-19 prevention committee

The coordination meeting of Sagaing Region COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment Committee with the region ministers, committee members, region level departmental officials and chairmen of Monywa district and townships administration councils was held at the region government office on 9 a.m. on 18th February.

At the meeting, the region chief minister instructed to conduct the virus tests at the crowded areas, markets, airport and bus terminals, awareness campaign on the infection of disease, distribution of preventive medical equipments to the townships of the region, extension of positive centers and quarantine centers, and the collaboration works among the region, districts and townships to mitigate the spreading of Omicron virus infections.

Next, the region ministers and military officers reported the status of virus tests and detections, hospital admissions and discharges, vaccination to meet the target, arrangements of health checkpoints at the entrances and exits of the township, security measures and educating works etc.

Upon the reports, the chief minister fulfilled necessaries and coordinated requirements.

Then, the chief minister and officials inspected quarantine centers and positive centers opened in Monywa Institute of Economy, the responsible officials clarified the arrangements and the chief minister fulfilled necessaries and viewed around the dormitories.

Afterward, the chief minister and officials viewed the vaccination to the people at the community hall of the Monywa University and Sasana Beikman of Shwe Si Gon pagoda, encouraged the people to receive full times of vaccination and coordinated necessaries.
