Seed Fair Week 2022: Union Minister Addresses Roundtable Discussion

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Tin Htut Oo addressed the opening of the Seed Fair Week 2022 roundtable discussion on Saturday.

In his address, the Union Minister stressed that the roundtable discussion was designed to encourage seed manufacturers and suppliers and the use of pure seeds would bring benefits to the country. He also called for cooperation among the government, private sector, farmers and growers.

This roundtable discussion joined by about 1,000 persons focused on experience sharing, the seed law, importance of pure seed and benefits for farmers and growers. The Seed Fair Week 2022 organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation at Pyinmana Agricultural Institute in Nay Pyi Taw began on the 18th of February and is set to be held till 20th of February.
