COVID-19 Preventive Measures: Kayah State COVID-19 Control and Emergency Response Committee’s meeting

Kayah State COVID-19 Control and Emergency Response Committee held a coordination meeting on 18th February. Chairman of the Committee, Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin discussed that preventive measures for COVID-19 Variant Omicron has to be carried out with the collective efforts of the committee members, departmental personnel, social organizations and local people.

He instructed to conduct health screening to the passengers entering to Kayah State, and provide systematic treatment to the infected patients. He also called for implementations of public awareness campaigns, storage of sufficient oxygen cylinders, vaccination process and providing the needs of volunteer organizations.
