Providing assistances: Sagaing CM provided assistances for the Sangha

Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw accompanied by the region minister for security and border affairs Col. Win Tin Soe, region government secretary and officials offered rice, cooking oil, salt, beans and vermicelli to the presiding Sayadaw of YanKin monastery, Monywa Township Aggamaha Pandita Baddanta Pannavamsa for the Sangha who are residing at Shwe Taung Oo Tipitaka Dhammapara Mahavihara monastery, Salingyi Township in the afternoon on 30th January.

Later, the chief minister and officials went to the Thitagu Chindwin TharmanayKyaw Buddha Takkatho monastery in AungZayya Myothit, Salingyi Township and inspected the scene of Sangha dormitory set fire into ashes at the night on 27th January. The building roofed with palm leaves and walled with bamboo mat is 60 feet long, 20 feet wide and 24 feet height worth about 2 million Kyats.

Then, the chief minister coordinated necessaries to construct a concrete building of Sangha dormitory with roof of galvanized iron sheets and brick wall as quickly as possible, provide food and other requirements and security measures.
