Drugs seized: Ketamine and Stimulant tablets seized in Tachileik

The Narcotic drugs worth over 760 million kyats were arrested in Tachileik Township, Shan State, according to the Myanmar Police Force.

Acting on tip-off, the combined forces including the members of Anti-Narcotics Task Force inspected a motorbike ridden by Sai Ong (a) Aik Ong near ParKhoke Village on Hwelelan-ParKhoke Road, Tachileik Township, Shan State (East) at about 1:30 p.m. on January 19 and found out 100,000 of stimulant tablets and 10 Kilos of Ketamine.

According to the investigation, the combine forces also seized 1. 6 million of Stimulant Tablets at the house of Yein and Ma Nan In in Nam Lut (Shan) Village, Tachileik Township at 2 p.m. and 1.7 million of Stimulant Tablets and 10 kilos of ketamine from Aik Hsee Yun (a) Aik Kyaing in a house in ParKhoke Village. In connection with this case, four suspects were taken actions and investigation is underway to expose those who committed the crime.
