COVID-19 Meeting: Acceleration Of COVID-19 Vaccination Programme

Ministry of Health on Friday afternoon held a coordination meeting on acceleration of the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme.

In the meeting at the Ministry, Union Minister Dr. Thet Khaing Win stressed the ongoing vaccination programme with the vaccines donated by India, Japan and Russia. He also called for efforts for COVID-19 vaccination coverage expansion, vaccination campaigns amid different vaccines and systematic vaccines storage and distribution.

Attendees discussed the COVID-19 vaccination programme in regions and states, coverage amount and vaccination plans. In Myanmar, about 3.1 million people received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and about 18.7 million people received the full doses of vaccine to date.
