Management Training: Deputy Chief of Staff & Senior Officer Management

Under the guidance of the Union Civil Service Board, the Central Institute of Civil Service (Upper Myanmar) began the Deputy Chief of Staff Management Training No. (8) and Senior Officer Management Training No.9.  Chairman of the Union Civil Service Board U Than Swe and many other officials as well as trainees attended the opening ceremony on Monday at the University in Pyin Oo Lwin.

In his remarks, the Chairman stressed that the training courses are designed to improve management and leadership skills, and called on the government employees to sharpen their skills and try to be good leaders. He also urged them to make efforts with accountability for successful implementation of the government’s policies.

It’s learnt that high-ranking officials including union minister, deputy minister, permanent secretary and director-general and local experts would take care of these 8-week training courses. The Deputy Chief of Staff Management Training No. (8) is joined by 43 trainees while the Senior Officer Management Training No.9. by 38 trainees.
