




Thai police said that they have arrested a man suspected of killing a British man and wounding another in an attack on Saturday morning in the western province Kanchanaburi.
The 22-year-old Thai suspect, Prasuth ThipThep, was found in a nearby apartment room with blood stains on his body and with an alleged weapon, a sickle, left outside the room's door.
The authorities charged him with murder and attempted murder with an intention to kill. The murder charge carries the maximum penalty of death. The suspect was brought the Kanchanaburi police station on Sunday for an interrogation and will appear in court this week.
The body of a 49-year-old British man was found early Saturday in front of a rented apartment room. Another 54-year-old British man was wounded and is being treated at the hospital.
