Honouring Ceremony: Union Minister Stresses Importance of Holding NRCs

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Khin Yi attended a ceremony to honour Bago Region which successfully implemented the Pan Khin Project issuing National Registration cards (NRCs) and household lists.

In his address at the ceremony, the Union Minister stressed the importance of holding National Registration cards and household lists and rights, expressed words of thanks to concerned departments and called for more cooperation.

Also, Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win expressed words of thanks to concerned departments for the successful implementation of the Pan Khin Project in the Region. This Ceremony continued with presenting certificates of honour and promotion to concerned officials and staff.

Also, 28 computers were provided for the e-ID project. After the ceremony, the Union Minister attended a discussion on the e-ID system for census data making process and gave necessary instructions. The Union Minister also met with concerned officials and stressed to give necessary instructions. Also, he inpscted the work processes at Bago Department of Immigration.
