Kayah State Situation: Locals Return Home And Assistance Provided

Residents in Loikaw and its nearby areas in Kayah State fled homes due to clashes between security forces and NUG PDF terrorists in 2022 January.

The security forces took control of the areas since January 22, stability has been restored and conditions returned to normal. On the 22nd and 23rd of January, 314 locals returned home. The concerned officials welcomed them and provided necessary assistance.
