Giving instructions: Meeting to give necessary instructions held

The Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Khin Yi gave necessary instructions at the meeting with Regions and States Head Officers regarding Pan Khin Project to be stepped up in the implementation during 2022 held at the meeting room of the ministry, Nay Pyi Taw on 20th January.

The permanent secretary U Aung Kyaw Soe, director-generals from the departments and official attended the meeting. The deputy minister U Htay Hlaing attended the meeting from Yangon and the regions and states head officers from offices of respective regions via Video Conferencing system.

Speaking at the meeting, the Union Minister said that the Ministry is implementing the important tasks for the country, a management system for regulating foreigners by the Immigration and Population Department is being established to be systematic for the permanent resident foreigners and those who enter into the country with various visas.

National Registration & Citizenship Department is implementing Pan Khin Project for receiving citizenship identification essential for every citizen in the social activities of their life. The preparation works are being carrying out while implementing to collect the population and household census in 2024 to acquire the necessary statistics and figures required in drawing and planning the socio-economic plans of the country.

In addition, the e-ID division is carrying out the e-ID system which is most fundamental for e-Government System of the country. While conducting those work processes, some processes must be done to complete during the tenure of this government and some tasks required to take time are needed to take shape even though those cannot be finished etc.
