Handing over victory flag: Bago CM handed over victory flag to the region’s sport team

The Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win handed over victory flag for the athletes represented the region to compete in Regions and States U-18 men and women track and field sports competition was held in a ceremony at Tawwin Hantha meeting hall of Region government office, on 20th January.

At the ceremony, the Chief Minister addressed the athletes and gave necessary instructions.

Next, the Chief Minister handed over the victory flag to the leader of the team, coach and administrators and provided 2 million Kyats of cash assistance for the athletes who will compete in the sports events.

Then, the director of Bago Region Sports and Physical Education Department U Myint Khaing clarified the selecting athletes represented the region, conducting camping training and sports events to be competed and the chief minister gave necessary guidelines.

The Regions and States U-18 men and women track and field sports competition will be held from 25th to 27th January and 33 athletes represented Bago Region will compete in the sport events.
