Humanitarian Assistance: Union Minister held a talk with ASEAN delegation

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Thet Thet Khaing received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam H.E. Dato Erywan Pehin Yusof and the Secretary-General of ASEAN H.E. Dato Lim Jock Hoi at the ministry, Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

At the meeting, in the repatriation process of displaced persons from Rakhine State, the continuation of cooperation by ASEAN with Myanmar, continuation of implementing 7 prioritized projects for the Rakhine State with the collaboration of ASEAN and the ASEAN to carry out linking with international donors for the rest projects, the 4th senior officials’ coordination meeting for the repatriation process to be held at the end of June and providing humanitarian assistance for Myanmar through ASEAN were discussed, it’s learnt.
