
A U.S. Army special forces sergeant has been charged with three counts of murder and three counts of first-degree attempted murder. He was arrested in a random shooting at an Illinois bowling. At a news conference on Monday, Winnebago County State's Attorney laid out the allegations against 37-year-old Duke Webb.
Attorney, Winnebago County State, J. Hanley said "Police officers located the defendant inside the building and took him into custody. The entire incident was captured on video surveillance. The defendant admitted to the shootings and directed officers to the locations of the firearms that he used."
Duke Webb has been charged with three counts of first degree murder and three counts of attempted first degree murder."
The shooting happened at Don Carter Lanes in Rockford on Saturday evening.
