Britain's Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, visited a re-purposed COVID-19 vaccine ward at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital on Thursday. The ward, named the Edward Jenner COVID-19 Vaccination Hub, will be used as a part of the UK's coronavirus vaccination program, which began on December 8.

The royals explored the facility, before unveiling a plaque commemorating their visit. Prince Charles had already contracted COVID-19 in March earlier this year, and commented to staff at the unit that he already has antibodies for the virus.
