Quarantine Measures: Seafarers Put Under Hotel Quarantine In Kawthong

Quarantine is part of measures against the COVID-19 disease. 7 Myanmar seafarers who signed off from MT (Motor Tanker) CHENBULK KOBO in Andaman Sea have been put under the 21-day hotel quarantine in Kawthong of Tanintharyi Region since Sunday evening.

The ship left Malaysia on its voyage to Myanmar. The seafarers will be tested for COVID-19 during the quarantine period, Information and Public Relations Department reported.
