Returnees From Thailand: 527 Myanmar Citizens Returned Home From Thailand On 23rd June

A total of 527 Myanmar migrant workers returned home through Myanmar-Thai Friendship Bridge (2) of Myawady border town in Kayin State on 23th June.

Among them, 40 returnees including 37 men and 3 women were handed over by Thailand’s Immigration Detention Center (IDC), and 487 persons returned home in their own arrangement from various parts of the kingdom with the approval of Myanmar embassy there.

The returnees were picked up in express buses by the district level responsible officials to the Mae Sot. Those will be sent to the respective quarantine centers after conducting medical tests.
