Drug Busted: Over 670,000 Stimulant Tablets Seized In Maungtaw

Authorities confiscated more than 1 billion Kyats worth of stimulant tablets from a village in Maungtaw Township, Rakhine State, on Sunday.

Police raided the house of Maung Phyu, 43, in Kyain Chaung (Alae Ywar) in Maungtaw Township at 6:15 pm on 14 June, and seized over 670,000 stimulant tablets together with an Isuzu Bighorn vehicle. Police filed charge against him under the Anti-narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
