Capacity Development: Multiplier Volunteer Capacity Training Program In Matupi

To be more effectively serve in implementing COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures, the multiplier volunteer capacity training program was opened at Matupi Township People's Hospital in Chin State, on 9th June.

This training program was organized by the Township Volunteer Steering Unit of Chin State.

It also aimed for the volunteers to help and participate in the containment and treatment of COVID-19 activities.

Staff Officer, Department of Social Welfare, Toe Toe Than said “We have opened the multiplier volunteer capacity training program for the volunteers not only for COVID-19 prevention and control program in quarantine centers but also for social affairs. The medical superintendent and medical officer shared the experience and health educative program as well as networking and counseling works.”

About 30 volunteers from the volunteering team of Matupi Township eagerly participated in the training program.
