Covid-19 Update: One New Covid-19 Case Reported At 7:00 A.M. On 3rd June

Ministry of Health and Sports at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday reported one new COVID-19 case after testing 1080 lab specimens. COVID-19 cases in Myanmar have now reached 233 with 6 deaths. While 143 patients have recovered from the disease, 131 of them have been discharged from the hospitals and put under quarantine.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America, Brazil, Russian Federation, the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, India, Germany, Turkey, Peru, Islamist Republic of Iran and France according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 2:42 pm CEST, 2nd June 2020, there have been over 6.1 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 376,320 deaths, reported to WHO.

Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people and those with underlying medical problems are more likely to develop serious illness.
