Coronavirus Control: Markets In Pyay Sprayed With Disinfectant

As the control and preventive measures of the coronavirus, Pyay Township Development Committee conducted disinfectant spraying at the Myoma markets in Pyay on Sunday.

Aung Mingalar and Koe Thaung markets including some crowded places have been disinfected since the last few days, the Chairperson of Pyay Township Development Committee said.

Chairperson, Pyay Township Development Committee, Than Than Wai said “This is the third time. We spray disinfectant in Pyay Myoma market. In the last few days, we disinfected in Koe Thaung market, Aung Mingalar and Myo Thit markets and railway station compound of public crowded place.”

She also added that the disinfectant spraying will be conducted in Pyay night market and other crowded places.

Officials of the Township Development Committee and charity organizations jointly conducted this activity and more than 1,200 liters of disinfectants have been used for spraying only Pyay Myoma market alone.

Currently, COVID-19 disease preventive and control measures are being accelerated in Pyay and nearly 200 returnees from foreign countries are being monitored at 4 facility Quarantine centers in Pyay.
