Moscow inspires isolation hospital builders with motivational posters

Moscow authorities try to inspire construction workers rushing to build a new 500-beds hospital in Moscow southwestern outskirts for coronavirus patients. The medical complex, fully equipped to treat the most seriously ill patients, will be ready in about a month, deputy mayor of Moscow told journalists. In normal circumstanses it would have took six to eight month, he added.

The hospital is placed about 50 kilometres from the capital centre and it is designed for two thousand doctors and nurses, according to deputy mayor of Moscow. A special dormitory for medical workers is being constracted at the same site. There are 306 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country now, the Russian emergecy coronavirus centre reported on Saturday, 131 of them in Moscow. On March 21 the city chief sanitary officer ordered to close all fitness centres, aquaparks and pools to prevent futher spreading of the disease.
