



Academy U Nyunt Win hosted book donation at Myanmar Motion Picture Organization in Yangon on Thursday.
Academy U Nyunt Win turns 80 years old on 19th March this year and the donation intends to the commemoration of his birthday. The name of the book is “Yone Kyi Aung Phan Sin” written by U Nyunt Win for the new generation who are interested in art.
Actress, Shwe Zin Htaik said “We can escape from street marks if we stand as a professional. The artists should learn this book. He will donate his books to the Myanmar Motion Picture Museum and Library. If you want to change from traditional acting to method acting, we should buy and read this book.”
He published 1000 books and among them, 500 books are donated to Myanmar Motion Picture organization and the rest are for his family.
Film Director, Aung Soe Oo said “U Nyunt Win wants to share his experience about acting to the new generation. So, he wrote this book and donated through the event. The books are not for selling but we set the price for 3000 kyats. We accept donation for these books. If we publish more the books for the funds, we can make more donations. The new actors, former actors and directors should read this book.”
U Nyunt Win won 7 Myanmar Motion Picture Academy through his designated career in Myanmar film field. He will be presented a prize for the lifetime achievement award in coming Myanmar Motion Picture Academy Awards Presentation Ceremony, according to the Film Director Aung Soe Oo.
