A gunman opened fire at the Molson Coors Beverage Co brewing complex in Milwaukee on Wednesday, killing five employees before he was found dead from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot. The violence erupted at the sprawling campus of more than 20 buildings, where more than 1,000 workers are employed by the beer company in Wisconsin's largest city. President Donald Trump referred to the gunman as a "wicked murderer" and called the gun violence "a terrible thing." U.S. PRESIDENT, DONALD TRUMP said "Before I begin I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the victims and families in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Earlier today a wicked murderer opened fire at Molson Coors Brewing company plant. Taking the lives of five people. A number of people were wounded, badly wounded. Our hearts break for them and loved ones. We send our condolences, we will be with them. And it's a terrible thing. A terrible thing. So our hearts go out to the people of Wisconsin. And to the families."
The suspect was described only as a 51-year-old Milwaukee man. Details about the circumstances of the shooting, including what may have precipitated the carnage, were not provided by authorities.
