A 4.2-magnitude earthquake hit with its epicenter about 8 miles southeast of Yedashe Township on Tuesday, according to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology.

The slight earthquake in Bago Region with a depth of 12 kilometers occurred at 8:25 a.m. Myanmar Standard Time.
