in London, a new colourful installation "Slices of Time" is set to go on display on Wednesday. The piece is created by French-born, Tokyo-based Architect Emmanuelle Moureaux. The piece is made up of 168,000 colored numbers separated in to 100 distinct layers dangling from fishing wire. Moureaux says the round shape represents the earth and the 100 colors represent the relationship between the past, present and future. Visitors are encouraged to write a special date in colored pen on a round piece of paper, whether it would be in the past or future, that will be displayed in the gallery alongside the installation. The exhibition is on display at Greenwich Peninsula's NOW Gallery from February 5 to April 19.
