Four Iranians arrested transiting through Honduras – president

Honduran authorities arrested four Iranians who are attempting to illegally transit through the country - presumably on their way to the United States according to local reports. The arrest came in the midst of extreme tension between Washington and Tehran. The Iranians, currently being held by Honduran police, were detained on Wednesday in the city of Choluteca in the south of the country, along with two Yemenis and one Somali. at a news conference, Honduran President said police special forces detained in southern Honduras four Iranian citizens who are attempting to enter Honduras irregularly. these people are being transported here to the capital to undertake a much more in-depth investigation.
