Youth Development: Ready for school opening and meeting aviation trainees

Kayah State Government is actively working to reopen Basic Education Schools for 2026-2027 Academic Year which were temporarily closed due to security concerns.

On Saturday, Chief Minister U Aunt Maw accompanied by relevant officials visited Basic Education Schools in Loikaw Township to inspect ongoing cleaning works. At Basic Education High School (Chikei) and Basic Education High School Branch (NamKut), the Chief Minister and officials oversaw the collective cleaning activities and instructed on timely renovation of the school buildings and facelifting measures.

Then, the Chief Minister and party proceeded to Myay Ni Kone Basic Education Primary School, Lwal Ta Mu (North) Basic Education Primary School and Pada Nyay Basic Education Primary School, observed the cleaning works and coordinated necessities on providing necessary furniture and clean water access.

Afterwards, the Chief Minister and party visited Institute of Sports and Physical Education (Loikaw), met with the trainees from Basic Aviation Youth Training No.10 who will continue their course in Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon and encouraged them to strictly adhere to the established rules and regulations and maintain strong concentration throughout the course.

The Basic Aviation Youth Training No.10 was conducted for 3 weeks at Loikaw training camp and will continue in Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon camps for 2 weeks. A total of 55 trainees and 6 administrators from Kayah State will join the course.
