Yellow Lip” Tulips from Eastern Türkiye

The rare “Yellow Lip” reverse tulips have begun blooming in the Sarikamis district of Kars, adding vibrant colors to the region’s breathtaking landscape. Following nearly 10 days of intermittent rainfall, the endemic flowers emerged in the Suludere area.

Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and pine forests, the blooming tulips have attracted nature enthusiasts and amateur photographers. The “Yellow Lip” tulip, a unique species of reverse tulip, grows naturally only in the Suludere region, making it one of the area’s most remarkable natural treasures.
