Xi to set out China economy, trade and tech goals

China's ruling Communist Party is holding its twice-a-decade national congress starting Sunday. At the congress President Xi Jinping is expected to receive a third five-year term as the head of the party, government and military of the world's second-largest economy.

Xi is also due to deliver a report that will set economic, trade and technology goals for at least the next five years. In the week leading up to congress, the Party's newspaper People's Daily published multiple editorials reiterating the need for the policy, and maintaining its sustainability.
