Work Undertakings: Providing assistance and meeting for Waso Robe offering

Under the supervision of Chin State Government, farming machines and beehives handover ceremony and grafting and air layering technology training course opening ceremony were held at district general administration department in Hakha Township on 26th June.

Speaking on the occasion, state minister for security and border affairs Colonel Thein Tun Aung stated that the opening of technology training is a crucial step for acceleration of agricultural production within the state and local food sufficiency. He also instructed to use the farming machines effectively in establishing the region’ agricultural industry as a paradigm of nation’s agriculture sector.

Then, the clarifications were made on farming machines handover and technology training course. Then, the farming machines, urea fertilizers, beehives as well as necessary equipment and tools for the training were handed over to the local farmers.

Subsequently, the state minister for security and border affairs attended a work coordination meeting to successfully hold the collective Waso-robe offering ceremony at Chin State Government office.

During the meeting, relevant working committees made reports on their respective assigned duties and tasks to be carried out. After coordinated necessities, the meeting was concluded with the closing remarks of the minister.
